Check Engine Light: Speed Sensor Code!
After I got my fuel pump and wideband installed this weekend I drove my car for roughly five blocks when the check engine light came on. The code was pulled, and it signaled the speed sensor. I drove around and noticed that my speedometer is not working but all my other gauges work perfectly fine. In reaction to the speedometer not working my SRS light came on as well. I am stumped. I wiggled the lines for the speed sensor and nothing worked. The guys who did the install were completely stumped. They told me to do some research, so I figured I'd ask the experts on EvoM. What do you guys think?
Note: The car drives fine, just rich due to the untuned car with the new fuel pump. Everything but the speedometer works perfect. The speedometer doesn't work at all.
Thanks,
Rob

From: somewhere testing various tires, brakes, and suspensions.
Well, it seems a speed sensor went out. That would cause the SRS to also fail. The SRS is speed sensitive.
Check where you were working - you could have bumped some wiring and either disconnected something behind the dash or broke a wire.
