Nice build Mike. How much does it cost you to get your block worked on? When time comes, I'm thinking of just getting Buschur State 3 head and block but would be great to save money if having a reputable shop do it too.

I went to Machine Motorsports in waukesha. They are right on Hwy 50 and 164. Owners name is John, excellent guy to deal with. He built Tim Zimmers motor which puts out close to 900hp.

I wont quote a price but it was well under 1k for what I wanted done, including reassembly of the lower end.

Other than that, I finally got the car back home for the first 500 miles. Still need another 484 till it goes back for full boost.

Thanks, me either.

I got the idle adjusted to about 1100 with about 100-250 rpm search to it. At first the car was completely undrivable. I must have did a fast solder job with the TPS sensor. Got that fixed and re-calibrated the voltage hi/low in the AEM and now it runs like a champ.

FYI: I have no IAC valve since I have the BBK TB. Im going to switch to the Boomba as soon as the wapce lets me.

Latest update:

Car has about 1000 miles on it. Just need to find a date/time that works with Strictly Modifeds schedule and mine so we can get this thing tuned on E85.

Last saturday at Boomba the car was breaking up pretty bad.

Tune was stopped at 518hp at 24psi.

The ignition problem has been resolved at more dyno time is setup for 6/5/10 at Boomba. Devin Schultz is doing an amazing job.

What I think it was is the CPS, too hot of plugs and burnt out coil boots.

Seems to run fine now. Been driving it every day since.

The tilton I put back in it doesn't like being near the max tq rating either. Im trying to get rid of the carbonetic and going to go with the tilton triple carbon.

Long term update.

I only drove the car once this year and the Odyssey crap battery won't hold a charge. So I threw it in the garbage. I installed a trunk mounted battery that will accept a 24 size battery.

Theres a ton of dust in the trunk from sitting for about a year. Im getting the speed itch again, going to do a full oil, t-case, tranny, rear diff change this week and get back on the road. I also have FIC 2150cc injectors that need to be installed along with a brand new clutch.

The old ignition problem has been solved. It came down to a faulty wire on the COP system.

We should be running by the weekend. It's good to be back
