I believe he ran a 10.9 with straight pump gas and 407awhp.. not sure about the numbers for the 110 and 93 mix though

hehe

No i didnt dyno the car with the tune thats in it. My best trap with boost leak was 125-126. I am thinking (dont hold me to this) it would be around 420 or so on our dyno.

Yes sir it is AEM. You would get more MPH out of a 35r but with slower spool. IMO the RED is like a sore Peter, you cant beat it

quite a few people get 380-390awhp (not buschur stingy dyno) on 93 with the GREEN on the stock head, I'm curious if there would be significant gains over that with the RED for the average guy that doesn't have a stage 3 head and the best cams. Or would it take race gas boost numbers to see an improvement.

I have a perfect test car for this turbo, my friend has a BR350 evo 9, and he was going to put cams and a green on, but i told him to wait to see how this red does on my car. He will be buying this turbo

cool, I have a customer that also ordered a RED, I can't wait to get started on it and share our findings. I have to be honest, I was disappointed in the green, I went from 365 to 400 peak on 93 octane for 2000 bucks...wasn't satisfied with that at all. Loving the 35R at 500ish now...wish the Red was out back then to try out.

How does the red compare to a HTA35R?

Trent, superb driving as always.

My direct question is - are you truly pleased with these trap speeds knowing several have done that with Greens? Are you pleased knowing your 60's are unmatched (at least on the mainland), but that stock turbo'd cars with lesser drivers are within 5-7 tenths on stock motors, stock ecus, and stock heads? I say this as a fan of the Green and potential fan of the Red. I just want your honest reply.

Yes thats some cash for the green, i cant imagine the time and work taht goes into R and D for a turbo that spools like stock with 40-50 more horse, its hard to please some people, alot of people want 500 horse, soon as they hit the gas, with no surge, on pump gas, cruise control, and they want the car quiet as stock!

Warrtalon are you comparing apples to apples

near full weight cars
93/110 mixed fuel
moderate boost for the turbo
lifting to shift

I doubt seriously this is all Trent is going to get out of the turbo so it's premature to be concerned about what others have done.

I really want to know how well this turbo will perform on pump gas only compared to an hta 35r.. like stock ecu and stock maf .. on a fully built car. : /

order it and let's get started I'm sure the spoolup is going to be much better but I doubt seriously it's going to touch the HTA 35R on pump...I'm thinking the turbine side is going to limit it too much on the RED

No, not really comparing. I'm asking for thoughts and exactly those details. I'm hoping in his answer, he will give some of those things that he will be using to make it even faster, such as better fuel (c16), different driving, different boost, etc.

Is this truly "moderate" boost? Hitting 30psi and tapering to 28 from 5900-7700 doesn't sound too moderate to me, haha. I peak at 28 from a roll, but I never see more than 24 on the drag strip and am down to 17 by the time I cross the traps (stock turbo at altitude). But, if Trent's boost is considered to be moderate, than that's info I'd like to hear.

There are probably lighter ones for sure, but I weigh in at 3275 with driver just like Trent, so he's a great benchmark for me except for my elevation.
