Are you pleased knowing your 60's are unmatched (at least on the mainland), but that stock turbo'd cars with lesser drivers are within 5-7 tenths on stock motors, stock ecus, and stock heads? I say this as a fan of the Green and potential fan of the Red. I just want your honest reply.
Trap speeds are great for the gas thats in the car, only a handful of guys have gone tens with a green, and a **** load have gone low 11's,. You will find that its not easy knocking off tenths and gaining MPH once you get to a certain power level. Could i run these times with a green, I think i could but it would be with c-16 or import gas, or i can pull up to any gas station pay my 4.30 cents a gallon and smile at the guy with race gas and a green when i run the same times

Is this truly "moderate" boost? Hitting 30psi and tapering to 28 from 5900-7700 doesn't sound too moderate to me, haha. I peak at 28 from a roll, but I never see more than 24 on the drag strip and am down to 17 by the time I cross the traps (stock turbo at altitude). But, if Trent's boost is considered to be moderate, than that's info I'd like to hear.

There are probably lighter ones for sure, but I weigh in at 3275 with driver just like Trent, so he's a great benchmark for me except for my elevation.
Tom pushed their Red to 38psi+ on vpimport so 30psi isn't asking too much of it...quite a few people do that on the stock turbo on c16.

as for the taper, it isn't significant and it doesn't have the upgraded actuator either.

Yeah, but I made the point that 30psi peak on the track is way different than 30psi peak on a dyno/street run. You know what I mean, right? He's never below 5900rpm, and the Red hits peak boost 1000rpm earlier than that, so I would think that seeing 30psi on the track would mean 32-34psi depending on taper from peak - I don't know for sure yet.

Depends on what you want to do with the car? Drag race i will take the 35r, all around daily driven car with quick spool i will take the RED. I had a standard 35r on my car last year that ran 10.66 @ 133-135 on pump gas, so am i happy with 128-129 on the RED absolutly!!!

gotcha, I missed your point about the track vs dyno pull peak numbers...they certainly can differ.

I'm kind of excited about this turbo, I hope it turns out to be the bolt on pump gas beast that spools better than the 35R and is capable of 425ish+

Highest on the street it hit 31.2 on a single forth gear pull.

Should this be a built motor only turbo if you plan on running meth with it on high boost or would this still be within reasonable tolerance of the stock internals?

Well, pump gas for me is E-85 - I won't ever use pisstane again if I can avoid it, so I'm looking forward to his C16 or equivalent results.

He said 31.2psi peak, so maybe another 4psi of good efficient boost on good fuel? Oh yeah....

You will need at least 1200 cc injectors for E85 @ 30 psi. on this turbo. And a BR double pumper

I believe it and would plan to do it along with a fuel rail at that point.
