So I have been having these weird sounds coming from my car. As I come to a slow stop there is a groaning clunk from the front right and you can feel it through the floor. Thought it was brakes but it happens before the car comes to a complete stop. It also seemed to make the sound on a left turn at times.

Today I decided to do a small 180 turn under power and the car pushes hard and heads for the nears concrete object.

Would I be correct in saying the front diff is screwed?

Also is it open or LSD and what fluid does it take?

Why would the car go straight when I floor it and turn though?

 

Its your LSD its shot. Just to make sure, do a circle at under 5mph. If it sounds and feels like your cars binding up thats the problum.
