I'm on my 2nd DLI also... HKS replaced the first one under warranty.

Good info in this thread, has anyone seen a coil go in this manor on a stock ECU? I'm referring to just one plug, not both from the coil...

something is grounding the trigger for the coil. this is causing the coil to be on all the time and over heat. only the coil who's harness is grounded will be affected. disconnect the ecu take a multi meter test the trigger wire for that coil at the harness plugs if you get a ground signal then there is a problem in the harness or your ignition box.
