i've read all the reviews on this forum about both clutches. everyone recommends the ACT HD over the exedy stage 1 because the ACT can hold more power but what if i need a clutch just for daily driving? how long can an exedy stage 1 last if i daily drive with 330whp? my stock clutch has 30k and it's starting to slip. i cant find many info on the mileage people put on both these clutches, should i throw out another $100 for an ACT just for daily driving or save $100 and pick up a stage 1 and hopefully last longer than a stock clutch, let me know what you guys think.

btw i dont want a stock clutch.

 

i have the act street disc and drive my car alot, its great for the hp you have. and it holds up to 507tq

 

Contact emery at street tuned on here. He will give you a great deal on the ACT. So the 100 dollar difference won't come in play for you. I like everything act puts out. Great company that stands behind their stuff.

 

Personally, I have had nothing but problems with organic discs....i say get the exedy stage 2 ceramatallic if you drag race the car at all. The stage 1 went out after one day at the track and the exedy twin disc i have now has lasted 10x the abuse i put on the old one and its smoother in my opinion, but like i said get the stage 2.
