CBRD TS, vertical, fun stuff...

thought Id post this here,

this is a thread in show and shine following our time attack build, but here are some pics for the motor heads in this forum....

its a twin scroll setup, both rerouted for sound regs...

our own vertical ic core, our own piping, our own exhaust, downpipe, etc.... now everyone knows CBRD doesnt normally do fabrication, we tend to use things from other companies that we know work... but for our own project, we had ideas we wanted to execute...

so here ya go..

the air intake will not be as it is in the pics... we have a pretty neat airbox with are building with an inverted cone filter, similar to the race cars i drove in alms...

the IC is larger than it looks... its just over 3" thick, 24" wide, 12" charge run..... very short piping... it's the only thing we can forsee having to go larger on... the radiator is 3.125" thick... the exhaust is 3" fully vbanded... with two race mufflers...

we have a selection of TS T4 housings we can use... and many turbo variations.. all hybrid, non off the shelf, all with custom antisurge housings- from our turbo partners at Blouch....

cheers

Looks sweet!

There's enough gold foil under the hood to blind someone working on it outside on a sunny day

Looking good Chad! She is coming together quite nicely. Looking forward to seeing her rip!

You're BR coil-on plug ignition and some of the other chassis goodies will be leaving here on Wednesday.

accusump holds excess oil, in a pre-pressured tube, if the oil pressure drops below a set amount, that oil will inject into the motor.
