I was just curious what you guys thought about this. Take a look at my muffler below. Its a stainless steel, oval body (which i painted black) 3" inner diameter Magnaflow muffler.....



My question is, since the muffler has an offset inlet, but exits in the middle of the muffler, would this be considered a restriction?? Lets just discuss the muffler only and not the rest of my exhaust system....

The reason I bring this up is because I want to know if this muffler thats pictured here will flow the same as a similar muffler that has in center inlet, center outlet...

I dont think so. I like that look though. Whats the part number of it? I might consider changing my muffler to that.

Naa, don't worry about it. A center in/outlet would be less restrictive, but the differences would be negligible.
