Turbo swap - oil change needed?
Turbo swap - oil change needed?
Say you get a bolt-on turbo to replace your stock one (in theory)...
Would you need to change the oil or could you just replug the oil line and be set? Stupid question I know... Help appreciated though.

no you dont need to change the oil if its clean. You should pour some fresh oil in the turbo before starting it up. It also helps to crank the engine over without starting (disconnecting the ecu relay), so the oil is primed into the new turbo.
