I took my car in to get checked out because all 3 ACD lights were on. The service manager comes and tells me he's going to void my engine warranty because of my mods (intake, boost controller, TBE). I said fine I expected that. Then he said he needs to get approval before doing warranty work on the ACD and that he doesn't think he'll have a problem getting my ACD worked on. My question would my mods have anything to do with the ACD crapping out just in case they come back and say it's because of my mods?

 

i was told by the dearler i go to that an after market part on your car will only void the other part of your car associated with that part.

example your exhaust and intake will only void your turbo and O2 sensors

but all dealers are differnt just threaten to call the coperate office or something lol well good luck

 

Clutch might be the most common one they could give you **** about. Though they warranted my TC after having a 6puck in and they knew I was drag racing, but in Slovenia there's only 3 official dealerships and they pretty much rather have me as a customer than have me go to another dealership.

 

I did my tranny, transfer case and acd fluid change a week ago. it'll come back once in a while but I was told this is an ongoing problem with Mit so shouldn't have to worry much about it as long as I have fluid on the tranny and case.

 

There's a code they can pull and they pull the code 82 or something like that meaning the pump is bad. Hopefully they take care of it.
