new clutch installed into 6spd, hard to get into reverse

just had a reputable shop installed my ACT hd clutch yesterday, they used oem diaqueen fluid and adjusted the clutch pedal for me but today i noticed it's extremely hard to put the car into reverse. i tried the 1st then reverse etc but it still wouldnt go in sometimes. maybe after 3-4 tries then it'll go. does anyone know what the solution is to fix this? do i need to adjust the pedal a lil more? i figured they would know what they are doing since they told me they adjusted the pedal for me. i do alot of parallel parking so this is killing me.

every other gear shifts like butter, this also happens when the transmission is warm.

Seems like the clutch is dragging a bit....

Does it do the same when the engine is off?

it does do the same when the engine is off but i believe it takes less tries, i didnt have a problem getting into reverse yesterday, it just started happening today. today is the 2nd day since the install. the car does not grind at all and every gear is smooth as butter when im driving.

occasionally if I try to quickly go from moving forward to braking to reverse it doesn't want to go but aside from that mine usually goes in without much hassle

I had the same clutch installed a couple of weeks ago also. I know what you're going through, but I experienced it before I got my clutch install. I know the feeling of putting the 6 speed into reverse and having a very hard time doing so. I don't have as much problems any more though, but when I did, I just kept trying and it eventually came to reverse after a few tries. Therefore I never made a big deal about it since it doesn't happen very often...but it does happen once in a while. I would take your Evo back to the place where you got the clutch installed and see if they can solve the problem for you or maybe if they can guide you to the right direction.

Bump... I'm having the exact same problem as described by the original post. Did anyone figure out what causes this or how to fix it?

Which bracket is this; is it in the mechanism beneath the shifter boot? Can anyone provide more info on the "braket"?

Its the shifting mechanism under the hood. Below the battery.
