FP Red Question???
At this point, it qualifies as hearsay, but I am going to bring it up anyway to see if anyone else has heard it.
On the Cal message boards, there are 2 separate rumors of people who claim that the wheels (not sure if hot or cold side) have contacted the housings. One guy said a particular turbo "only lasted 4 days."
Has anyone else heard anything? I am not trying to cause trouble, just wondering if anyone else has heard anything as (in my experience) these kinds of things are kept hush-hush.

I'd say if your looking for more power go with a red or 35R not be concerned with daily driving. A little lag from a turbo doesn't really affect daily driving that much if you ask me. You will get lag and then more top end power thats the whole point of a bigger turbo.

Any dyno graphs or info? You are running 93 I assume?
My red shipped today. FP called and said they could ship today if I take off porting option which I did. They said that they were taking the porting and coating option off the website as it was causing orders to backup. I think that may be just for the red. They said they would complete peoples orders that had originally wanted porting and coating but it would just take longer. Anyway they must have received their new shipment of compressor housings because last I spoke with them that was what they were waiting on to complete orders. My original order was placed on 7/17 and I originally had ordered it ported and coated.

Just got my red today . I also ordered the gasket port and coating but opted not get it because I was told it could delay getting the turbo for several weeks. I just gasket ported it myself and im dropping it off tomorrow to get heat coated. Not sure what to do next get aem ems or meth. Im thinking go stock ecu and meth.
