Ya, I got called by Nick yesterday and he said FP was shipping them a shipment today and that they would be there within two days. Should be on your doorstep by Monday at the latest, unless you got the porting option too. I can't wait!!

even 500rpm lag is nothing compared to the power increase. Consider me sold.

How long did you end up waiting for yours? I see that it was shipped out to you on the 26th, when was your order for the FPRed turbo placed? I am wondering how far off we were with our deliver estimate in your particular case. We have been saying "3-4 weeks" as a default answer to that question, but I think we are doing it a little faster than that recently. Hope we were not too far off the mark with delivery in your case.

Same here. You also have to realize that it may still make equivalent torque by that RPM even though it isnt fully spooled.

Really, unless you are in very low rpm (under 3k) in 4th or 5th gear you do not even notice spool difference.

What are your goals forthe turbo? auto-x, drag racing?

I think your going to need more daily driver reports than just referencing dyno chart torque plots....

regardless, based on all the reports i have read, you definately gain more up top, than what you loose down low....thats why i ordered 1

I don't know what people are wanting to complain about... I'm still on one of the original WR turbos and could use a little less "spool". Sucks a lot of gas when your cruising speed is right at your "spool threshold".

Can't wait to get a Red myself

Mmmmm, a Red and the smell of burnt corn alcohol...

I have a couple of questions
- how is the part throttle response with the red?
- The slight spooling difference that u are talking about is that over the stock turbo or over the FP Green

I have analysed some graphs posted here wiht my FP Green graph and there doesnt seem to be much of a difference.

-I had a stock IX turbo. Part throttle response is almost identical. I road race my car and that was the biggest concern for me. It is just fine. You can set and hold any boost level you want with the pedal.

Spool is consistant, quick, and controlable. (I am running 25psi ish on 93oct). Haven't run a green but I am guessing it is about the same if not slightly slower in spool, since IX spools faster than green, but Red is only 400-500 rpm later than IX.
