Thanks guys. This should pose no additional clearance issues despite what exhaust you have on your car currently.

Finally!! This is a great stock block option if it's cheap enough, then having a dry system for built motors, i think you'd sell the sh** out of it so long as people have done the research or been told they need it.

EDIT: also, assuming it's made out of alum, or steel even, can you integrate some kind of heat shielding to protect the temps even further?

can you factor in a bit more clerance where the downpipe comes close to the pan/ I know with my car, at 1 point the pan touched the exhaust. My ghetto fix was to wrap the exhaust and dent the pan.

oh, well i didnt read in their description that they were addressing this concern. They didnt mention anything about it. Only the additional 1.5 qts, the trap door in the pan, and that it should clear most exhausts where the added "box" for the extra oil is.

Also, I hope this doesnt interfere with the lower tie bars and undertrays. This would be great to have.

Any issues running an oil accumulator setup? Would that be more cost effective to produce? I am sure it was considered - just wondering!

A baffled Oil pan would be perfect for those that spend thousands on a built block. The added oil capacity would increase the engines life also. Sounds like a winner to me.

See folk, People from these forums have asked for a solution and now its been done. There is power in the internet yet!

yup.. this is needed.

I personally see about a 2 bar drop in oil pressure on long hard right hand sweepers.

I was looking into this a while ago, talked to Moroso about it but never followed through. I'm glad this is coming out, would love to put one on my car. Would this utilize the stock oil pickup?
