Now, how about a crank scraper to put in while you have the pan off? ...O never mined, just saw the Cosworth item that's quite a nice price...shocking.

Seriously, this is a nicely done and needed piece...hopefully the price will be affordable.

What are the chances of the welded seams coming apart? Is aluminum strong enough a material to use for an oil pan?

Price is still not determined.

The welds are VERY strong and will not come apart unless the car is in some kind of a serious impact...and then you have bigger problems.
