A good 91oct setup for my IX MR

I am in Cali and just picked up my Evo almost a month ago, however as you can see I joined the forums over 4 years ago so I am not a total stranger.

Since I am in CA and got **** 91 and cops everywhere, I am going with the stealth exhaust from RRE almost for sure. Howver am open to other options on all things listed.

The car came with Injen IC pipes, and Injen Intake. Both I don't like much but feel its not worth it to remove and replace.

I plan on getting the following soon, any changes you guys think I should make or add? I noticed huge power differences in peoples setups on 91, which I found strange. Some people barely running 300whp on 91 and others running 330whp with similar parts.

RRE Cat-back
RRE HFC
RRE DP
RRE o2 Housin
MBC
GSC S2 or Cosworth
Walbro Fuel Pump
Mil.Spec ThrottleBody
ETS FMIC

thats going to run me around $2500 with no installs and no tune.

Me I'd run the FP Red turbo and some injectors in CA. Get rid of the MBC and have Razorlab tune it with the GM BCS. Get the 4.5 " ETS IC. S2's are good or the M2's: either is a good pick.

I may upgrade to the 4.5 myself. In hot CA weather and on crappy CA gas I always liked running the biggest core available(largest frontal area and thickest). I always figured it would let me run a pound or two more of boost. I think that ETS has a 5" core as well, but I don't know if it is Evo friendly. Someone with an 8 second Talon(42R) runs one, I think. I guess that I believe in IC overkill.

Simple recipe for making good power on 91:

Reduce/remove all restrictions
Port everything, smooth flow = less knock
Upgrade all cooling equipment

Is E85 readily available throughout your part of California? If so, then go for it! You'll need biggie injectors, but combined with the bolton Red turbo you'll be able to tune for 450+ WHP.

Ya I guess ill have to get bigger injectors but I don't know if I wanna go FP red yet. How much could I get for my IX turbo, 14k miles on it. I'm really trying to limit myself to 4k right now, although I have plenty more money i could potentionally spend, I dont wanna get too out of hand and go broke
