autotronic ecus
I would be a little surprised if it was a Plug and Play unit. That is just from talking to Motec in Austraila for the last several months. What do you think you gain by going for a Motec vs. the Autronic/GEMS route?
BTW, I chose to go the GEMS route.

Well I think some of it is personal choice but the MoTeC M800 seems to have more features than most. The software is surpassingly impressive as well. MoTeC systems are very powerful and tough. Heck, they were telling me that the M800 wire-in box had such powerful ignition drivers that you could practically weld with it.
I don't know about that but they do seem nice. The older M4 and M48 software isn't terribly impressive though.
Additional M800 capabilities;
Large on board logging memory
dual lambda
live telemetry
capability to drive the motec ADL and other items via CAN bus
sequential operation of over 8 cylinders
drive by wire
closed loop cam control
traction control
Many aren't really useful for a street car, but then again, neither is antilag.
Oh, BTW, I chose GEMS as well.
