hmmmm....
Or, you COULD just spend the extra money and buy the REAL turbo, not some cheap knock-off... Why go through all the trouble of swapping **** out, when you get the best compents from a company out of the box.... just my .02

On a serious note, what if the $h!t actually performed?

Let's see... they make
cams, manifolds, exhaust, springs and turbos... and a bunch of other crap; stroker kit is right around the corner!
I would like to see one of your Evos hang with my "vagina" STI what ever that means

The STI is a really capable car for the money and has a totally different character than the Evo - no need to knock it

After alot of e-correspondence, he was able to get a free replacement, along with some advice hand-written on a piece of copy paper. It said,"Use an oil restrictor inline before the turbo." So he got one off ebay and we installed it. That kit is still kicking almost 3 years later. You can take that with a grain of salt.
The bottom line is that the technology for knock off of high performance turbos has not yet been perfected yet by the el cheapos

I have seen a few customers inold school cars who tried to play with knock off el cheapo turbos and they always had problems

Buyer beware

The owners are vag's most often, not really the car. It is a certain side effect when you market your cars with "love" in the ads.

It is a fact also that lesbians prefer suby wagons and thats what the new STi is.

By Buschur's logic, shouldn't you guys be buying these, re-labelling them as FPEVOGreenGT's, and re-selling them for $1699?

Vibrant, you are right. I could have handled the situation better and I wished I would have allowed time for the comments to soak in and analyzed it before commenting back so hatefully. I apologize as well to op for going WAY off topic and to Vibrant for jumping to conclusions and calling you bad names.

If it wasn't for my "DSM world", you guys would still be running 13s. And I own an EVO now.

Exactly the same case as the Chinese knock-off Evo III GT's for DSM's. And many people had issues with them after running them for a while.

I personally prefer the real thing. Knowing the R&D time that went into it, & that there is a reputable company behind it if anything happes beats the hell out of 'cheaping out' on a potentional pos turbo...

who makes that ^^^^^^^^^^^^

and what about your BR intake
https://secure.buschurracing.com/cat...01231407d1c3b3
for $80.00

or you could get the same thing:
http://vibrantperformance.com/catalo...f4fb810988527f
$20.95

http://vibrantperformance.com/catalo...f4fb810988527f
$22.95

not trying to hate, just think before you speak................. Those are just some parts you buy for cheap prices and mark them up. When your customers are still getting those cheap but effective parts........ I personally run the vibrant intake and the o2 housing, but I didnt but them from BR. I know your turbos,ic pipes, and intercoolers are top notch. But it just bothers me seeing someone buying the product from the same people that you tell us "Dont buy this cheap $h1t!" then rebadging the product as their own and then saying "Support the vendors who support you guys!" just my 2 cents..........

I sure the turbo is complete trash, but It would be nice for someone to test it..............

Here we go with the Evolution superiority again.... Because weak vendors just sell junk to one group of slow Mitsubishi owners, and not others....

Lol...funny, seeing how I used to be a strictly Honda guy we used to say the same thing about how Evo's are overweight pigs that need tons of power to break the 10's. Unfortunately it's true.
