I found the thread. https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=339636
The problem with these cheap ching chang chong turbos, are the oil seals in the center section. They have a tendency to blow out under operating pressure. I have first hand knowledge regarding these cheap turbos. We put a ssac kit on my buddy's del sol, and it was quick for about a month before the turbo failed. After alot of e-correspondence, he was able to get a free replacement, along with some advice hand-written on a piece of copy paper. It said,"Use an oil restrictor inline before the turbo." So he got one off ebay and we installed it. That kit is still kicking almost 3 years later. You can take that with a grain of salt.

Im pretty sure deadbolt turbo is a US company as well. Like I said I have no doubt the turbo will work. Just doubt the reliability, serviceability, and think its sooooo wrong to bite FP's name
Wow.....Not sure how I missed this thread but im not really surprised that it was copied. Imitators always come out of the wood work when there is something thats proven. Buy real PROVEN stuff not this junk.

Is that a FUC%ING racist remark you ignorant POS? For your info-fu#kin-mation, ssac is a United States company operating out of North Carolina! Truth is, as far as we know, nobody is dumb enough to order one of these OBX kits because nobody knows jack about it. Except for the fact that they sell cheap products and their quality lacks extensive enginereering.
I hate going off topic. You never know how someone will interpret what you say or type so don't assume. You stated you have a black friend but you made a remark associated with orientals not blacks. I seriously doubt you meant to offend anyone but think about the ramifications of saying things of such nature.
come on people.... quit with the frikin race card, that **** is old... who gives a flying f-uck.... Nigg-er nigg-er nigg-er Crack-er Crack-er Crack-er Chi-nk Chi-nk Chi-nk.... Got it all out of your system yet. Come on who gives a fuc k dont take offense to such stupid shi-t. Dueces im out

Racist?! Wow, you really wanted to pull that card, huh? I like how you called me ignorant before you even gave me chance to retort. For your information, I happen to be mostly native american along with a few other things. My best friend who is black just gave his life in Iraq so you could point a finger at who you thought/hoped was a racist. If the comment was not "pc", I'm sorry. There was no malicious intent behind the comment, it is just a description used often over at honda-tech, where I used to a member. I feel sorry for you. There must be a lot of hatred in your heart, if you feel the need to label someone. Way to be "TOLERANT".

No, I didn't want to pull that card but I thought of all the people who you might be offending by using that term so carelessly. I called you ignorant because you used a racist term without even thinking that you might offend a race, hence IGNORANT! Sorry about your best friend but that did not justify what you posted. Just because he is black and you are of mixed ethnicity doesn't mean that you can say things like "ching-chang-chong" and not be called racist. Now think about it, what if I said something like that? What if I said something like crackerjack American made POS! Honestly, would that offend you? Ok, I got it out of my system.
