Where'd you hear that? I heard the HKS units are a bit uncomfortable on the streets. I've heard nothing but good things about the Exedy Twin-Disc's though.

The new series of GD Max's are actually very streetable..nice overall unit to use, but not in huge supply in the states.

But a bit OT we did get in some Cusco Twin Disks today - in stock, ready to ship (yea, I know, shameless plug!)

The GD Max is different clutch than the former unsprung clutch. I want to hear from the HKS GD Max owners. I have heard (Supraforums) that the exedy doesn't hold up to dragracing and if you blow it out you cannot replace the disks by themselves. You can however supposedly replace the HKS disks by themselves. But I am contemplating whether to purchase a HKS or Exedy clutch. There are two seperate forum vendows both offering exceptional prices on both.

GD max is very streetable and very stong. JUN and obviously hks use them on their project cars, JUN officials never had any problems with then on their race cars. I have few in stock, email me for details.

Just bought my Exedy from Suprastore.com...Im exicted! Call them up, their very nice and have great prices! They are also knowledgable about everything...I asked the differences between the HKS and Exedy and they gave me first hand experiences.
