FP RED - for the road course
Pretty decent amount of part throttle surge going on there....but again nothing my 35R wouldn't do either
Ugh, the Red makes me want another Evo to screw around with. Must resist the urge!

we will have a Buschur 2.3 w/built head for next year. We put it on Josh's stock 2.0 just to have some fun & test at the end of this year.

Keep in mind the gears you guys are talking as far as spool.
It will spool quicker in higher gears than lower gears, so you need to compare spool RPM in the same gear.
Here is a red on a Evo 8 with 280 cams, 3rd gear:
30.5 psi @ 4500 rpm
20 psi @ approx 3800 rpm

well over a bar of boost at 3800 will definately be starting to pull along nicely
Razor_How much WG preload was the Red turbo tested in post 114 running? Was it preloaded to the usual 14 PSI or less? Stock JDM DV? Have you had time to tinker around yet with a Red turbo´s preload to see if it can be made to spool faster? Of course you probably approach spool differently with your modified BCS expertise. I remember that you were getting the Greens to spoolup faster than anyone else could.

OEM metal BOV slightly crushed. Hey wow the stock Bov can hold boost.

Also the Red is heavily ported. Titek tubular 02 housing. OEM ported exhaust manifold. AEM intake.
