Anyone know if this is true? I'm building a 4G64 right now and was wondering about this. Thanks.

Either use stock cam gears from a 94?? DOHC Galant with a 4g64 or use evo adjustable timing gears and degree your cams.

Hello !

I have 87mm bore 4g64 block from a GDI mitsu space wagon and an Evo 9 ported machined head . I would run with OEM headgasket bored to 87mm . I need the Evo 8 OEM 3 layer type ~0.34" thickness.. Did it somebody from that gasket ? Or only the Evo 9 5 layer will work ?

What about the OEM 4g64 gasket ? Do we know the thickness ?

all the modified gaskets that i have seen are evo 9, but it fits the 4g64 block and either the 8 or 9 head. the 8 gasket is thinner, but the 9 is more durable.

I had a Power Enterprises on my 2.4. Head lifted a few weeks after we got it running when re-tuning it after running into fuel issues.

I'm on a AMS right now.

i need a new gasket for the 4g64 with mivec head. i emailed buschur and awd motorsports for one and no dice. i know about using the cometic, but after hearing about people having issues, i would rather not take the risk.

someone point me in the right direction please

MAP has one.

Also, you can use the felpro gasket for a 2003 Outlander with a 2.4L.
