Great! Just reading this thread, and had a couple questions if you don't mind. You mentioned that you replaced the front 02 sensor after retrieving DTC P0132. Did the new 02 sensor fix the code right away? The 02 connector sits up in the valve cover, close to the open hood vents. Do you think that maybe water intrusion into the connector could have caused the DTC? Or just coincidence that the DTC appeared after the car wash? P0132 sets when the ECM detects a high voltage from the 02 sensor, and if water was to get into the connector, it's possible that the heater circuit voltage could've shorted to the ECM? Where did you find the boost leak? Looks to me like you had 2 different problems at the same time, the boost leak causing the driveability issue, and the P0132 causing the 'check engine' light. Anyways, if you could get back to me, I'm curious to see what exactly happened in case I run into this one day. Thanks & GOOD FIX!

The connector was dry but the 02 was loose on the housing. He probably had the boost leak before in a milder way. Maybe water got in the sensor from the under carriage water jets and settled in it. Then when the sensor heats up it might damage it or shorten it. I’m not sure.

for now on, start with the basics and you wont need to end up swapping parts out and buying stuff you dont need

Possibility. Your Turbo outlet pipe got whacked on the coveyor at the carwash. If the outlet pipe got hit hard enough it would create a boost problem similar to yours. It happened to me when i bottomed out....and could absolutely happen on a conveyor. BOOST TEST...it is nearly impossible to see the leak if that is what is actually wrong.

I dont know it could have been a comination of multiple things, but the pipes may have been a tad loose befor and the under-carrage sprayer just did it in. many things can add up to it.

Look at this guy!.. did your read? The front 02 was dead, you know, the one that controls the fuel. the "boost leak" wasnt even bad enough. The reason he couldnt boost is because in close loop the afr's was jumping to the 9s making it pig rich. so no, we dint swap anything and yes we bought the 02 sensor that he needed, made sure everything was tight and now hes boostin fine...
