VIII and IX axles

I have a busted rear axle and i was just wondering if there was any difference in between the VIII and IX axles?

I dont want to find out the hard way.

I am 95% sure that the axles are identical between the VIII's and IX's.

^^^ In other words you have no idea. Less than 100% wont help this guy in anyway. Are the rear diff's different?

To answer the OP's question, yes all rear axle stubs from 2003-2006 fit.
