Question Question??? Help!

Okay guys, this may be a REALLY dumb question, but I am kind of new at all this..

The car is a 2006 Evo IX..

I was wondering if after I get my motor broke in the rest of the way, and get it tuned if I would be putting down so much power that I'll have to have the transmission built, replaced, etc.?

The car has 26,xxx miles, i'm probably going to be running around 26-27 psi on pump gas on a daily basis (I may consider race gas, or even methanol later), and the mods are in my signature..

Like I said, this may be a REALLY stupid question, but if all the things i've heard about the FPRed making a lot of power then I should be putting down some good power. I was just wondering about how much power the stock EVO IX transmissions will hold.. Thanks in advance for all the help!

I say if it aint broke dont fix it... but be prepared at least You will put a lot of midrange down TQ and WHP. Your cluch will be first then syncro after syncro could go... just be prepared to front the bill. The evo tranny is strong if your nice to it.

Good luck with your build!!! Let me know if you need anything!

^^dang, you're 16 and got a built evo already. Lucky Bas***d. LOL, j/k

Your tranny will hold well as long as you take care of it, and it should hold a good 600whp with no problem.

Thanks for the helpful info man, and yeah, I just turned 16, and got my licenses. It's pretty sweet lol. Now, hopefully i'll just put down some good numbers, just enough to beat my brother's old 35r EVO VIII (488 on a dynojet)..
