Help diagnosing issue

I've tried researching what the problem could be for a while now with no luck so far. I noticed that driving on the highway in fourth or fifth gear at 3k rpms, when i'd go wot the car would lunge forward, back off a little, then take off. At first I suspected my bov at the time which was a greddy rs, but since going back to stock ix it still happens. Then I suspected it could be my clutch slipping, but the rpms would not just jump up, the car would move as the rpms went up. I have considered a boost leak, but the car does hold targeted boost. Lastly I suspect it might be due to my megan 02 housing. I've read about the wastegate holes being a little small on some. The problem showed up the last time I had the car on the dyno. Notice how the power jumps, backs down, then climbs back up. Any ideas what could be causing this? I still have a sneaking suspicion it could be the clutch. The pull was done in 4th gear btw.

my first guess would be the clutch, take it to a big hill and through it into 5th, see if it free revs

Stuck Wastegate Puck......check your WGActuator. take it off and test it by hooking up an air line. I would be willing to bet that it's your WGA.....

I have tried that on the highway and it doesn't. I've also as someone suggested to me, put the car in 5th at 35mph and punched it and it didn't free rev.

Tried this today. Rpms did not free rev. The rpms gradually increased as the car picked up speed.
