Obviously for the money its a VERY good turbo, that has been established long ago. Is it the end all turbo?? i beg to differ, are other routes more expensive to obtain better results...sure, isn't that life? Turbos are a give and take relationship. Sure some perform better than others, but ususally a gain will come at the expense of another, be it spool, response, reliability , top end, etc.

My point was even if a Twin scroll GT30 does indeed spool better than the RED, the costs are outrageous compared to a RED. The performance difference between the 2 is minimal either way, and when price is put into the equation (and cost doesnt necessarily mean better quality in this case) the RED is extremely hard to beat. If I bought another EVO, I would have to decide whether the Green or a 35R would be it for me, I wouldnt even look at a 30R as an option anymore.
