Here's a pic of the small/no battery setups. The BOV re-circ was setup on this one so that the guys that go Standalone later (MAP), can have a better BOV placement.

Prototypes were sent out and we're hoping to have the production models back within the next few weeks. Polished and gloss black powdercoated will be available. will have Evo 8/9/10 IC kits available.

no there are two types of IC kits for the 8/9. a stockish setup for those with a regular sized battery and another setup for those with a mini-battery.

I run the synapse bov with a custom uicp at the moment. I just had the aluminum flange welded on to the piping. The bov works flawlessly I love it it just sucks now you guys put out that other new bov and im wondering what the difference is.

Why with your short route piping are you making it come out level to the radiator then down with a 90 to the intercooler where there is another 180 degree j bend ? It would be better to have it come off the j bend at the intercooler and shoot up at about a 45 to clear the tranny and straight to the tb.

So these are available for the IX then? Can we buy them, along with the recirc hardware and the BOV

Will there be an option of getting this in a matte black finish? Also, is there going to be an intake developed that will work well with this UICP? Maybe something that looks better cosmetically and incorporates a heatshield of sorts. You could use the UICP as a brace for the shield.

i believe there going to make it available polished or matte black. they replaced the stock intake pipe but if your referring to something like a cold air for the turbo i don't think they did one for the kit.

If I read the post correctly, they are making an aluminum finished pipe an a gloss black pipe. I'm not one for shiney in the engine bay, and that's why I like matte finishes.
The intake I was asking about would be routed like all the other traditional intakes on the Evo with the filter sitting in the area of the ACD reservoir. If that could happen, a heat shield could be made to star on the motor's side of the UICP to seperate the hot air from the air filter. Just an image I have in my head.

Sweet! I wonder how many people have this UICP/BOV combo on their car. It would be great to see the reviews on them for people who have a quick spooling turbo. I know there are potentially 3 different ways to set the BOV up and would love to see who has had luck with what. Does Synapse currenrly recommend a particular setup for stock like turbo setup such as the BBK?
