is it bent so much to where it has a crease in it? If so I definetly wouldnt use it. if it doesnt have a crease then you may be ok.

yeah thanks ,I think this one is going back. I just hate sending things back because some jerk was careless. When I saw the box outside my door the first thing I notice was the bent on the box and I said" f@k, f@k, idiots"

Why didn't you just go to your local Mitsu dealership to get a head gasket?

well I bought it as a package deal ,arp head studs, timing belt and the gasket. is cheaper when you get it together.

Ah, O.K.....It's a long shot, but see if the mitsu dealearship can work out something with you. Like I said, it's a long shot, but if it truly is bent up, you might end up with a leak thus having to pull it apart again.........Now, that's just my opinion. But good luck to what your doing

That's a bummer. Usually when we receive a head gasket it's a decent size box, or it's between two really stiff pieces of card board or even wood sometimes. Make sure it doesn't have a crease in it if you plan on using it. More then likely you are better off returning it and hoping the next one comes across perfect.

Good Luck,

Michael
