You just need more tuning time. Nevertheless, that still works out to 500whp in Dynojet terms, so not bad for 22 psi and a quickie tune.

not bad for a conservative 22psi tune, I'm sure you're anxious to get back and finish it up on more boost. Any idea when that will be? Maybe I'll have my car back by then and be able to roll down with ya.

LOL, mine should be rolling tomorrow. Since FP probably won't get my HTA86 to me until next summer, I'll be using an HTA82 that I had laying around. We'll see how that works with the 1.06 A/T TS T4. If I'm not 100% satisfied, I'll just go 4088R with a slightly smaller turbine side.

I will let you know how it turns out.

I'm very curious on how the 86 would be like in T/S. I may have to get that from you if you go 4088.

OK here is another part of the picture. Now this is only 20-25 mins. of tunning. There still some timing left in it. But this will show you how the two setups spool up. The 35R setup is completly done. The 2.2 setup is halfway tunned.

If I recall, your 35R setup was 2.3 and single scroll 35r?

And you went to a 2.2 twin scroll hta 88?

And from the graphs, you are spooling just a bit later with the new hta 88 setup even though you are running a bigger turbo and 0.1l less displacement?

Yup, you're correct. But the tune is not complete yet. This is just an initial result

Oh, I'm going to. It was a 20-25 min tune job based on time restraints. There still timing and fuel left on the table. The car is safe to drive hard now. Andrew was thinking it would take 2 hrs to tune. But due to the MAF-T box upgrade and then the learning curve of tuning through the MAF-T Pro's VE tables via laptop, MAF-T Pro's box menus and then ECU flash stuff, it took 5 hrs on the dyno of tuning to get it to the point where Bruce thought he was ready to get power out of the new setup. But by then, they had their next appointment in and had him wait for about an hour after he got there. So I'll be going back for another session to safely maximize what I have on pump and so on.

So it's not the final product yet. Just a safe base tune I can step on the gas for now.
