Need Advice (Gauges, Mounting, etc.)

This is somewhat "Engine" related ... ?

I'm looking for advice on setting up the inside of the car for a classy gauge setup.

I'm currently running an Electronic Prosport Boost Gauge, and Zeitronix Wideband.

I've put a lot of money into the engine since the purchase of the car on July 30th, and I've read that people have issues with the prosport gauge being inaccurate? When I was letting off at 20psi tryign to set the boost controller to 20, the Zeitronix was reading peaks of 24psi. Has anyone else had issues with these gauges?

QUESTION 2!

I'm looking at the obvious, of the Gruppe S radio relocation & tripple 60mm setup. The Defi gauges are the obvious answer, but are obviously pricey. I'm not worried about spending the money if it's a necessity for quality; but for the sake of asking...

Do you suggest any other gauges, or gauge setups (pods, gauges, etc.)

Pictures are much appreciated, and links to sites with the best pricing.

Keep in mind that the most important thing to me is keeping the car look clean, sleek, and understated in the interior. I don't mind having an aggressive setup (high quality gauges, and electronics here and there), but please no suggestions of Ebay gauges in an A-piller setup .. know what I'm sayin'?

I've searched, browsed the interior shots thread etc ... now I'm looking for a set in stone answer, links and prices, and suggestions.

Cheers, and Thanks!

Relocate the radio with a Mitsu radio relocation kit.

Get the panel sold here:http://store.42draftdesigns.com/Lanc...l_p_12-14.html , or one like it.

Forget the Defi gauges. The ISSPRO Enhanced Visibility gauges with red pointers have a better quality look and cost less: http://www.egauges.com/vdo_grou.asp?Series=EVA_R

Fantastic, Thank you!

A friend of mine has a 42DD account, so that makes things easy!

I like VDO gauges, and they make great quality stuff, but I'd like something slightly more flashy. I know that contradicts my previous statement of being understated and classy ... but I'd like something slightly more modern looking.

That is more form then function, but if I can get both, I'd be happy as can be.

EDIT: The more I look at them, the more I like them .... Could be a top knotch option. Thanks!

Any more suggestions?

Those aren't VDO gauges, they are ISSPRO.

BUMP ... Honestly, 80% of the people here have aftermarket gauges, and no one can help me with links, prices, or advice? LoL

I did my gauge cluster over the summer. EGT / Boost / Oil Pressure made my Defi. I used the Defi link gauges because it was the easiest to wire up and IMO the Defi gauges look and perform the best. The Defi control unit is nice too, you can set different warnings as well as being able to see peak numbers. I bought the amber set and they match the stock gauge color perfectly. I used an a-pillar gauge pod to mount my gauges. (http://www.lancershop.com/customer/p...&cat=22&page=1).

For my wideband setup - I bought an AEM Wideband kit and I am using the autometer steering column gauge pod (http://www.lancershop.com/customer/p...&cat=22&page=1).

I go between lancershop.com - stikiller.com - amsperformance.com - slowboyracing.com to check to make sure I am getting a good deal on parts. Google shopping is another good place to get a quick price estimate.

Happy buying
