Just a Quick FYI. Act now has a new clutch kit out with an unsprung street disk that they say will not lock you out... We will be trying one here shortly. Also we ran a 10.6@137 on a xdss with a 6 puck.

Positives: Lasted 75ks worth of racing/drag/street. Put up with a lot.

Negatives: Had lock-out at the end of its life. Pedal pressure was very stiff.

the only bad thing about the unsprung disc is that it'll make a little more vibration noise from the driveline. And its not clutch chatter...

i would save the extra money for the twin but i rather pay 150$ for a new disc rather than 500$ for new discs....i'm liking the avatar now...kinda...rather see a 2jz tho


plus the street disc will last longer anyway

act sucked ***** for me, 20k on it, release problems ALL the time, and the disk was gone when I pulled it out.

I now have an unmodified exedy twin hd, first 2500 miles, it was amazing to drive with. After 2 launches at the track (6000rpm 2step), I think I warped something in there a little. Its a little hard to get into 1st gear now, and I don't hear the chatter with the clutch disengauged too much, I adjusted the pedal some, didnt do anything, but shifting into any gear while moving is still perfect, and it still did what its supposed to with its 3rd launch last night.
I might yank it out over winter and get something push type, maybe something carbon/carbon
