Question Red conversion wait time?

Hey All,

Just wanting to hear actual wait times for converting a stocker to a FPred? I've been running a green now for 5K miles and feeling like I paid for a full price hooker with none of the fun, so let me know what your wait times have been so I can gauge how long I have before I can pull the green off.

i have never heard fp mention this option other then buying a complete turbo. You may want to go right to the source and actually call them-JOEYD

Well their estimates were not that accurate before with greens, which is why I was trying to find actual wait times. Thanks.

And you won't get an exact answer, but it's understandable, it is in demand atleast till the Fp yellow with a 35r wheel and exhaust stock housing comes out

Unless you have no problems with the possibility of 3 months downtime for your Evo sending one in isn't really an option. Ive been waiting about 2 months for a new FP Red so far....

I talked to them today. 4-5 weeks as of right now for a conversion.
Price $1099, plus shipping

They are not offering a ported version as of right now.

I sent in a core so we will see. They told me about the same time (4-5 weeks but that was BEFORE I opted for the port job). You CAN get it ported if you still want to but you will have to wait significantly longer which is why they just recommend the gasket-match, and they said the port didn't do anything which is why they don't really recommend it. BUT in my case I don't care how long they take on mine since it won't be going in until March, so I went with the port regardless.

EDIT: I also forgot to mention the cost goes up from $49 to $99 if I remember correctly. FP FTW
