Clutch Adjustment?

After installing a aftermarket clutch, like a ACT HDSS and ACT Streetlite flywheel, people say to adjust the clutch pedal...

Where do you want the clutch engagement?
Towards the top of the pedal?
Inbetween the top and bottom?
As close to the floor as possible?

Let me know your opinion and suggestions...THANKS!

The Evo clutch is an auto adjusting pull type and the engagement will be nearer the top of the pedal - depends on clutch and if the system is well bled. If you want to avoid high rpm lockout/lockin you want the maximum rod length available without covering the valve that allows fluid to flow from the reservoir to the slave cylinder. You can determine this by "pushing back" on the slave cylinder. If you can't push back then your rod is too long / too short and it wont allow fluid down to the slave cylinder. Once you have the rod "in window" then you can adjust the height somewhat and your clutch pedal will still auto adjust for clutch wear.
