I'm using the buschur intake but didn't run the hose from the valve cover to the turbo intake pipe.

 

Dont forget Tomei 280 and Piper cams...

 

Some say that... but only the people that have the cam specs know the truth to this.. and the answer is NO. but they are GREAT cams with ALL around great power...

 

I "think" I recall BR saying that if you have Jun 272s that there is so reason to upgrade to the BR cams... Anyone have any dyno comparisions on the Juns and BFs? I am curious to see which one comes out on top overall. These are the 2 cams I looked foward to being tested in the AMS cam shootout...

 

I am currently running the Cosworth M3 cams and I love them. I think they are one of the most aggressive profiles you can get at least for a daily driven car, but somehow James Reese was able to give me a smooth idle with them. I lost 30hp in the low RPM band compared to stock, but gained 45 in my higher RPM band, I chose these cams as I felt they would compliment the FP Red I am planning on in the near future. We will see....

 

Yes, David has said time and time again that if you have Tomei 280s or Jun 272s.. there is NO reason to upgrade to the BF 272s because they make "similar" power.. As you know.. David does EXTENSIVE testing on just about any part made for the EVO and he runs the best in his personal RS ... Well .. what do you know? He personally runs the BF 272s along with most of the other buschur powered cars that are running 9's.. They are one of the most proven cams out there and I trust his judgment.. I do know the specs.. but I had to find out the hard way and send them in to get cam doctored.. but even with the specs.. It doesnt tell me how they are going to perform in a real life situation.. For example: More lift doesnt always mean more power and a better powerband.. the same goes for duration.. and so forth..
