i have the 6262/.63

ultimately, i think it all comes down to:
a) how much of this is a DD?
b) where do you rev?
c) how high will you boost?

if you are mainly DD w/ a lil fun, go .63
if you are 2.3 and want a fun powerband... go .63.. otherwise id take the opportunity to go .82 rev out longer, and make more power doing so on a 2.0 or 2.2LR
if you are going to be seeing 30+ often, go .82

i dont know the gains of switching from the .63 to a .82, but GENERAL consensus for any turbo is, you lose about 300rpm spool...but if i had to guess, your power is going to increase anywhere from 20-40hp in the upper rpm range and continue to increase the more you raise the boost..

find your needs, and fit the turbo/turbinehousing to that app...my 2c

Im running a .63 ATM and see 38psi by 5150-5200RPM in a 3rd gear pull on E85. Im thinking of stepping up to the .82 so i can run some more boost and free up some back pressure at these high boost levels.

at that level of boost, for sure you're loosing power at high end.

it depends on your tune. but i think you should see full boost with .82 between 4800-5000 rpm. i dont know how much whp you will see on 91oct but on 93oct 24-25 psi boost you will be around 450whp(on dll).

wait til you ride in it... lag won't be the first word that comes to mind!

I got the .82

I plan to do a back to back with the journal vs. ceramic BB... and a back to back on the turbine housings (.63 to .82) at several boost levels.

but i think .63 is better for 2.3L coz you can't rev up to high rpm like 2.0L ..

for 600whp on 2.3 i think .63 is the best one

is the dbb worth the extra money over the journal? isn't the stock evo 9 turbo journal bearing? it lasts a long time. i assumed you can rebuild the journal bearing as opposed to the dbb which needs a cartrdige. is the dbb needed if you'r ejust going to dd and have some pulls every now and then? chime in anybody
