Cam instalation question

I just put new cams in my evo. Now i have a new timing belt and tensioner. Do you HAVE to install a new belt and tensioner. ?

The only time you HAVE to install a timing belt is when your old one is worn out. If your car has around 60-70k miles, it's also a good idea. The tensioner does not neccessarily need to be changed either, but it's always a good idea to change it when you do the belt since the job blows. But yes, you can change cams without changing your timing belt.

as he said...you don't need new belt or tensioner unless it's due...and tensioner is one of those things where it is easier done with the belt then later...
