Wicked machine Mark!! Thanks for letting me drive it on Friday night!!! Guys this car is not tuned, and is set up EXTREMELY conservatively. The acceleration is so smooth it almost seems boring, until you look at the speedo! Pulls hard all the way to the top! Get that thing tuned, then lemme have another crack at her Mark! Better yet, get it tuned then come out to the next open track day with us...I won't mind watching you suck my door handles off hehehe.

I'd like to see the whole dyno sheet... A/F would be nice...

Good job!

dyno sheet

Zeus and Alex:

http://www.turboperformance.net/bsp/

Brainstorm has a 4 wheel dyno and got the avo intercooler and gt40 there... Roshon owns it and is the evo guy too. Saw his silver pull 407 at the wheels and be boring drivable...

He has been straight with me so far.

I always thought the torque and hp curves should cross at 5250 rpm. Am I missing something?

I'm just curious as to why you haven't invested in any kind of timing/fuel device.

Great numbers none-the-less and I can't wait to hear what kind of power you make with the appropriate fuel system and electronics.

Interesting, thanks.

I'm wondering how much lost whp and torque can be recovered between 3000 and 4600rpm with some proper tuning.

take a look at the scales people. there are separate scales for torque and horsepower. the horsepower and torque are in fact the same number at 5250 rpms but due to the scale difference they do not appear to cross on the graph.

no computer...

If you read above, I said I am waiting for the aem ecm... not a fan of piggyback on this car. The evo's ecu is highly adaptable and will fight!

Yeah i am wondering the same thing... Can't wait to see!

Regarding the curves... only guess is it has to do with running so rich...

Nice numbers, but what about spool up? peak boost hits at what rpm? I think the gt 40 is oversized for the 2.0. The dyno chart on the site shows a 5000 rpm tq peak. That's pushing it a little. May be able to bring it down with some tuning. Anyways, just curious about spool up.

What gas are you running? If that is't a race gas, I am very surprised. Al has said that about 400 WHP is the limit without detonation with street gas, but maybe you are just lucky.

I give you a big thumps up on doing what no one else has... Bolting on a big turbo and busting off one run without any fuel/ engine management mods takes some nuts on a car like this. I'm sure things will really take off for you when you tune it out. Hell, pretty impressive as it is.

I agree. The 40 is too large especially with stock head, stock manifold, etc. You are probably already getting towards the limit for fuel, but I understand you plan to upgrade that. Even the ND car only uses a 35/40 IIRC.
Kudos none the less. I am a bit taken aback. I carry AVO and haven't realized these were available yet.
If you need to set up an AEM EMS now, let me know.
