i installed GSC S1 cams in my Evo 9 last year. i'm going to the body shop tomorrow because my car is totaled and i want to get my GSC S1 cams and replace them with the stock cams. i printed out the cam install guide from www.evomoto.com. is there a slight difference between installing cams in an Evo 8 compared to a 9? i remember having to deal with an allen head cap on one of the cam gears. does anybody remember the size? any other differences? i just want to be prepared since i have to supply my own tools for this install.

the main difference is that the intake cam on the EVo IX has that cap over it which requires that allen key. But thats it really.

 

what happened to the car? i am the guy who sold you the cams.
