438whp/471wtq Stock Turbo

Just got the call from Scott@TTP. Needless to say I'm very happy A dynosheet will be up as soon as I receive it.

As some of you may have seen my last thread in the Drag Racing section "4th gear lockout" I was having 4th gear lockout issues last time at the track and still managed an 11.372 with it taking 1.2 seconds to get into 4th gear. In a way I was very excited with the results knowing there is a lot left on the table still with a clean run.

After that problem I immediately saved my pennies and went shopping for a second hand Exedy Twin HD clutch here on Evom. I picked one up for what seemed like a decent price, took it to TTP and had them rebuild the clutch kit with new discs and install the new clutch. While the car was there Scott also recommended a retune due to my higher spike in boost from the winter temps then when the car was tune in 90Deg summer weather. Which brings me to the new improved dyno numbers.

The car will be back on the track this coming Sunday to see if I can accomplish my final stock turbo goal 10.9@124mph. Thanks again everyone at TTP for the excellent service, wish me luck

Wow !! Thats impressive! You should be able to reach your goals even full weight with that power and without the lockout issues

Imagine how impressive would that be to be able to run 10s on the stock turbo on a real street car and still having A/C, full glass around the car, carpets and seats etc .etc.

Cant wait to see what you do at the track

I must admit I do take out the front passenger seat But yea aside from that the car is just as it is on the street everyday how I drive it.
