If I were to upgrade from stock to kelford 272's would it be recommended to upgrade springs and retainers? I will be running off stock turbo and will most likely be boosting from 21 -22 psi.

I think adding springs/retainers is a good insurnace policy with higher lift cams. Look at it this way...it's cheaper than a floating valve.

im gonna go with the kelford 272's over the hks but has anyone taken the risk of stock valvetrain? if so how long :P

yep , my friend raced his fp white kelford cam evo into a 11.9 1/4 mile stock valve train

Just in the second day switching to Kelford 272 from HKS 272, am using Green on EVO 8 so should fit your criteria.

It's much more aggressive all around, very slight longer spool but very very strong all around. Very drivable but idle is still tricky (Motec M4) and I still have to settle at 1200 rpm idle, otherwise very unstable.

Have to drive more but so far am very pleased with this Kelford.
