coolant lines for my HTA86..

i dont want to use the stock water lines anymore, so while i have everything apart where can i get some water lines that will go onto the stock pipes.

preferably something thats a SS line, what is everyone else using that has upgraded from the stock lines?

Find the size of the tubing, and use a tube nut with an fitting on the end of it. Then you can have a -6an line running from it to the turbo.

This might help you.

I got my stuff from summit. Ill have to grab the part numbers when I go home tomorrow. I believe you need:

2- M14x1.5 to -6AN adapter
2- -6AN 90* SS Hose ends
6' of -6AN SS Hose

Summit Racing Part Numbers:
2- EAR-9919DFHERL
2- SUM-220687
1- SUM-230606

Summit Racing Links for parts above:

Another thing is that you need to put a COPPER Crush washer between the turbo and the fitting. I just picked up a set of Oil Drain Plug washers for 14mm from AutoZone for around $3. They will prevent leaks and the copper wont rust from the oil. I could find those from Summit, but you should be able to get some that fit locally. Just make sure they are COPPER.

That should be all that you need.

I also changed the size of the thread. Its 14mm, not 10mm.

I used these from ATP turbo with 3/8" rubber hose.

Those fittins above are for the Oil feed line I believe.

I would stick with the SS Fittings. I had Push-Lock AN hose on before and it brushed up on the turbo and it started to mealt through. Thankfully I noticed it before it mealted through, or leaked. But this time around Im going with the SS as it has a MUCH higher heat rating and wont burn through.

Ill have the Summit Racing part numbers and links up in a few minutes.

6 feet of line seems like a lot to me.. did you have a lot left over?
