Sent out my AMS header to get a make over to a company that specializes in hi temp coating 2000F outside and 1300F on the inside

Now for the test of time and heat see if this stuff hold's up to my lead foot

Yikes! The manifold is something that needs to be cleaned everytime with the car or else it can go bad pretty quick.

You seriously have one of the baddest evo's around. I wish I could go for a ride in that thing! I had a 500 whp evo and I could only image an extra 200 whp !!! Your car is just sick!

Looks great!!! I just did the same to my headers along with powdercoating my VSR and ams 3" uicp.

 

$475.00+ shipping , some little company up around my way liquid coating or something like that, dual coating 2000F on the outside and 1300F on the inside of the header.

 

Post up some pics on the car as soon as you get some, that thing is pure sex.

Are you running the new 6765 turbo which i believe AMS is calling the 950r?

 

Wouldn't it have to be carbon fiber to look like the rest of your car?

 

I will be testing that on my car this week comming in see what she does on a 2.3
