Fuel pump has no power!

My evo's fuel pump doesn't get power when I turn the ignition or crank the car.

I pulled the fuel line off the fuel rail and put a bottle underneath and cranked the car. No fuel poured out.

I checked the fp fuse. It was not blown.

I pulled the pump out and tested it. The fuel pump worked.

And now I just ordered 2 fuel pump relays.

What else can I test before I take it to the shop(Im really trying to avoid)

Thanks.

You check all your fuses not just the fuel pump?

No i havent checked all the fuses. I'll go do that now.

I do have a 2000 eclipse gs. I wonder if the relays are the same. Im going to look that up. because if they are, im gonna start pulling stuff off of it.

I just bought this car for 19,000. Its black with 27000 miles. It has a hks upgraded turbo kit, wideband installed, turbo timer, and some hks ignition box. I hope the wiring work didnt mess with the rest.

The dyno sheet the seller gave me said 518 hp on race gas. And the day I drove it, it pulled really hard. I never drove anything more then 140 hp before that.

It sucks buying a car and only been able to drive it for one day. I have to wait till monday for the relays to get in. Ill keep you posted, and maby even post some pics for the fun of it.

Well If all fails, I am going to turn to hardwiring my fuelpump using this guide

http://domain1886493.sites.streamlin...e/hardwire.htm

If someone would please help me understand how he hooked up the purple wire (relay signal wire) I could have my evo running tomorrow.

It runs all the way from the fuel pump to the engine compartment from my understanding. When the writer explained this step, he didnt put much detail into the whole engine compartment wiring
