dont forget to take in the account of the time wiring them up and so on. time is money. so its just not a mark up after the cost of the parts. and the materials they use in their products are just cheap basic wire, chips, and shrink wrap

It seems like you understand what it takes to bring a product to market. Another factor is R & D we have done lots of testing. All of our systems utilize Tefzel Mil-spec wire and Heat sleeve. They ALL carry a Customer Satisfaction Guarantee. They are also Plug and Play

I'm 100% positive you can save money (providing you have a clue what your doing) by buying individual coils from the junk yard (or even new from XXX dealer) and wiring it yourself

However buying a proven system you'll have full support and a warranty in case something happens. Like your Ghetto *** wiring job burns your car to the ground

Needless to say I'm buying a sparktech when I start having ignition issues. So far im good but haven't started tuning for Race Gas yet. 25-26 psi 61mm BB pump gas

This non-cdi system makes a consistent back to back 8-10whp gain over stock coils. We'll stand behind our advertised gains...ANYONE that doesn't see those gains on their application can simply return for a FULL REFUND If you gain MORE a review thread is in order
You don't have to wait until you feel the ignition issues... WHO couldn't use an additional 8-10whp. Ok some might say 8-10whp isn't much but these gains were on a very lightly modded 03' Evo 8, stock Turbo, stock cams, stock 02' housing at ONLY 21psi ALL runs were same boost SAME tune. FP Green and Red cars WILL see more of an increase as they would need more spark to ignite their mixtures.

I know for a fact from all of our testing, Ignition is ONE of the MOST overlooked areas to make consistent and smooth HP and Torque curves. We've seen cleaner, smoother ignition logs as well. Our butt dyno is incapable of measuring the significant increases. Early in 09' we will be back on the dyno testing and will have LOTS of data to share.

TKEVO...Have you installed it yet? What are your thoughts and did you feel a difference. We noticed a discernable difference in quicker spool and what feels like more torque in the lower rpms.

It's wild how varied the results with the HK$ unit are. I'm running Ted B's old DLI (He upgraded to a Spark Tech) and I'm gapping my plugs @ .026-.028 on E-85, 26psi and approximately 500whp (126-128mph traps) I have absolutely NO spark blow out.

I mounted it on the bracket that used to hold my intercooler sprayer tank.

Alot better than mounting on the T-belt side motor mount...which is the Worst location for electronics. I think alot of the failures could be tied to that mounting location. That motor mount transmits lots of vibration to the unit.

I prefer the Master Cylinder Bracket that happens to be from SparkTech.
