Tick from the Head/Injector Area

I just got my car all back together after the turbo had blown. First the injectors were leaking when I first started it. it need new seals/o-rings, so i swapped those out and got it all going ok.

So now my question is, I have a pretty loud tick coming from around the back of the head / by the injectors. i am thinking it is lifter tick, but im not positive. its a Buschur stage 3 head and FIC 1200cc injectors. Its getting loaded on the trailer tomorrow and going to Buschur for some minor work, Im just trying to see if its anything that i can fix real quick or check to see what it is.

Thanks!

Most likely lifter tick. Could pull them out and bleed them and check them for any problems. Funny when i run my break in engine oil i dont have problems but when i switch to synthetic i start to get tick.

well often Injectors are quite loud themselves. the ticking is most likely them, did you take the cams out for any reason?

havent had the cams or timing belt off since Buschur had the head off and it was all fine after that. I have a feeling its the injectors, just my dad thought lifters, so im trying to make sure. I dont want to mess with the lifters if I dont absolutely have to. I might get out the stethoscope later and listen to the injectors. I have a feeling its them.

Thanks for the help guys.

My injectors / engine is totally stock and has never been touched.

I only have 14,000 km on the clock and my injectors have been noisy from the start.

+1 for injectors
