Questions about install: FP Red, JMF o2 Dump, Ported/Coated Manifold
I'm having JNZ Tuning install cams/springs, and headstuds. The cams are FP4Rs. It's a spring/cam combo from Forced Performance. Everyone has been swearing by Kelfords but I wanted to be different and go with these. I would love to see 500whp. I'm hoping meth will show some killer torque as well. I'll just have to wait and see. I'll definately let you guys know.
They're BC Racing Coilovers. The funny thing is that I bought them thinking they were Buddy Club (BC)....haha. I felt stupid posting a thread about Buddy CLubs and then guys where chiming in saying.....THOSE ARE BC RACING!!!. Oh well. So far so good with them. I honestly forget what I paid for them, maybe $800?
yeah I had some false hope this morning, thinking that maybe I could do it with the turbo still on the car but that doesn't look possible. I might just have JNZ replace the gasket when they do everything else. we'll see.
I had the same leak, but after looking closely it was running down from the upper copper washers. I kept torquing by a pound till it stopped. You shouldnt need any teflon on the other fitting if thats were the leak is coming from.
well I gave up on the FP Oil Supply Line/Filter. It leaked no matter what I did. I just put the stock line back on. Hopefully Robert will help me out. I decided to pull of the exhaust manifold to get to the o2 housing. It worked, I was able put the correct gasket onto the housing. There's no exhaust coming out of my dump pipe at idle but now I have an exhaust leak where it meets the downpipe. I used some cheasy gasket that came with one of my o2 housings. I decided to pry off the old gasket that was stuck onto my stock o2 housing. Hopefully tomorrow I'll have some luck putting this on. I also think my wideband took a crap. Sometimes I really want to burn this thing to the ground.

Welcome to the reality of working on cars. Take your time and do it all right the first time, so you only have to do it one time. Just think what you get to live with every time you drive your car after you get this little project in the bag
