So I have a couple of questions about my install. I also have an annoying leak on my Oil Supply Line for the turbo. First of all I was wondering if I should have exhaust blowing out of my External Dump Pipe while the engine is just idling. I also wanted to know if I should be able to hear the turbo spinning a low speeds during acceleration. It's almost like a "Zing" sound. I was wondering if it was possibly my turbine wheel that I can hear because of the dump pipe. Lastly I'm having a problem with this freak'n leak. Pics are below. Any and all comments would be appreciated. Enjoy the pics.

Here's some shots of the install and a couple shots of the everything assembled.

Correct me if I'm wrong but shouldn't there be some type of Teflon material on that fitting? Preferably paste...

well I hope that's my only problem. I have Teflon Tape. I could also get some Liquid Teflon at work...we call it Pipe Dope at work. Anyway I'm not familiar with AN fittings. I thought they were like a Swagelok type fitting in that they wouldn't need a gasket or o-ring. Should I have teflon on this?

Not sure if I can help with your problems, but I was curious where you got the metal coolant pipe, BOV to intake hard pipe and which intake you are running? I am looking at going to the FP red later this year. Your setup looks great! Good luck with the issues.

well did u install a gasket when you installed the o2 dump,if so which would explain why your feeling air coming out of the dump while in idle and also it would explain why you hear a ''zing'' sound while on half throtal with the gasket installed its like an exhaust leak right off the turbo which you can hear the turbo spool.

as for the leak maybe a bad gasket or o ring not there

and thats a nice build you got there so far i wish i had a red maybe next year and GL

Good quality thread sealant for the fitting threads will fix that leak. Some people put teflon tape (like plumbing style) on the threads but I can't get it past my little brain if some of it should happen to get into the turbo and block an oil passage. LOL Just me being super stupid ****.

Well the Coolant Hard Pipe, and BOV recirc pipe are both ETS parts. The intake is an HKS Rs Intake. Thanks for the compliment. I always complain about how dirty my engine bay is. I decided to clean it up since I had some extra room to work with.

Sounds good. I'll definately try Teflon on the fitting. I did use a factory Gasket with the o2 Dump. Damn, I guess I should have used the one that came with the o2 Housing. The problem is that I had a fresh OEM gasket for the o2 housing and the one that came from JMF looked like a piece of sheet metal. They told me to use a little high temp RTV when doing the install. Their gasket does have a strip of metal that would help separate the dump tube from the exhaust. I'll post pics comparing the two.

Here's a pic of the three I have side by side.

Left: OEM
Middle: Helix
Right: JM Fabrications

You can see that the two aftermarket gaskets separate the wastegate from the exhaust. I wonder if it's going to cause a problem. I'll call a couple of shops on monday to see what they think on this gasket thing.

There's your issue. That's where you're leaking. o2 dump is completely divorced so using the oem gaskets allows the unit to leak.

I checked with "Q" before installing mine.

thanks for your comments. sometimes I get brain dead and I always end up kicking myself in the *** for it. As for the AN fitting for the oil filter, would you also suggest teflon?

Yellow teflon should do the trick. I got mine from home depot plumbing section.

Also i used the epm gasket + copper gasket around the edges just for peace of mind.
