I hear ya man. I'm hoping that I don't feel dissapointed once it's all said and done. I doubt it though. I've ridden in a 30R(pump gas), 50trim(100oct), HTA35R(pump gas), and PT61(pump gas) Evos. I'm hoping that this turbo has the best traits of all of these turbos.

working on cars can definitely be frustrating until it all comes together. I would definitely recommend using the OEM donut gasket to avoid any leaks.

LOL @ the pics....I love that you left your whole intake in place! That's amazingly lazy, I'm impressed!

How long did you wait for your turbo after ordering?

I think I waited 7weeks. As for the intake, it never got in my way so I did bother to remove it. I just loosed the worm clamps to give me some wiggle room.

What type of UICP are you running? I would like to run that ETS BOV recirc pipe with my AMS UICP but I am not sure that it will work?

My 02 dump was installed with no gasket and it resolved the exaust leak issue. As for the noise you hear coming from the turbo, it's perfectly normal. I hear mine and my buddy also has the RED and he asked me the same question because he hears it too. Hope that helps. Good luck!

You didn't use any gasket? Well I just got a new dougnut gasket from my buddy down the street. I'm trying to cancel my order with lancershop since I found out that I have JSC Speed right down the street from me. Man I feel like an idiot. I never knew they were so close. Oh well, we live and we learn.

Well guys I'm back in business.....well atleast with the exhaust and wideband. I slapped on my fresh OEM gasket from Mitsubishi and BAM!!!! The Leak is gone, duh. Anyway I did another Fresh Air calibration on the wideband and it came right back. I guess the nasty exhaust leak freaked it out or something.

Oh I almost forgot to mention, I knew the turbo sounded WAY TOO LOUD and was concerned that something was wrong with it. The high pitch noise from the turbine wheel was driving me out of my mind. It was obviously from the exhaust leak but I wasn't completely sure. Well now that my exhaust is fixed the sound went away.

No it's an Inline Oil Filter that has AN (flared) fittings on either end. One end obviously has the banjo bolt and the other has a stainless braided line with the other banjo bolt for the turbo. It's from Forced Performance. They have two colors. Black= BB Turbos (less oil flow) and Red= Journal Bearing Turbo (more oil flow). I had nothing but problems with it though. I had an oil leak at each end of the filter housing. I decided to try a Permatex high temp sealant on the threads and it didn't work. Then I tried some Teflon Tape and that came out even worse. In the end I decided to use the factory oil supply line and "NO LEAK". I tried calling the shop, left a message and I've been waiting on a call back for a week now.
